When we seek healing, we often envision a straightforward process of addressing our wounds and moving on. But sometimes, the path to true healing is more complicated than we realize. Real healing requires careful consideration and attention to both the wound and its potential for further damage. In matters of the spirit and the unknown, it can be helpful to turn to spiritual practices like tarot or oracle readings for answers that may not be readily apparent. Divination can offer a deeper understanding of the wounds we carry and the path to true healing, even if that path is messy, painful, and requires difficult decisions. But no matter what the healing process looks like, know that you are still valid and whole, capable of moving forward despite the loss and pain.
I channeled this message via the Dark Mother Goddess, Hekate earlier which made this very clear to me. I shared the channeling exactly as she spoke it to me below:
3:30AM:
fykala mou ton asterion
Sometimes the healing isn’t what you think. Say you injure a limb. No big deal— Sure you dress the wound and tend to it, … but if you’re not careful or you’re not properly cared for, that minor wound can become a big problem. And if ignored, can become infection. The sickness spreads. When this happens, you can no longer use the same healing method as you did at the beginning. Not tending to the source of the infection will allow the sickness to keep spreading until it sinks its teeth into the rest of the body. Moiraios. Deadly.
Sometimes, healing can be just as grotesque as the fight itself.
Sometimes healing can be having to debate, decide, amputate, cauterize, and begin an entirely new healing process this new wound.
Is it ideal? Ochi. No.
Is it easy? *laughs*
Oute kan. Gods no.
It’s messy. And painful. But is still healing.
And despite the ugliness.
You’re still here.
Despite the loss and the pain.
You’re still capable.
No less valid. no less whole. No less divine.
Had you left the sickness attached, it would have devoured you whole.
Put out your light.
Aitherios thanatos
Ochi—

Fight. Adapt. Mourn. Feel. Heal.
O fylaka mou ton asterion
Reflect. Understand. Transcend. Grow. Never stop growing

Healing isn’t all sunshine, bandaids, stuffed bears, yoga mats, and kumbaya sing-songs.
Healing happens in darkness. Some of the deepest healing happens when all the light appears to have been suffocated.
Healing can also be sacrifice. Hard decisions. Anger. Screaming. Mourning. Laying the stones for your boundaries.
As it is said, the world wanders in the darkest of darkness before the dawn approaches.
Healing is same.
You keep fighting, asteri mou
But be not afraid of this darkness where you dwell.
It is here you face your fears. Here your nightmares are tamed. Your mettle is tested again and again and again…
not to taunt or mock you.
But so you can demonstrate for yourself your resilience. Your strength. Your soul’s very own alchemy as you evolve and remember who you are— who you’ve always been. Who you have forgotten.
And when you lose your way and despair sets in,
Eímai edó.
pánta. Kouvaláo tous anamménous pyrsoús mou.
kathós koitás tin ierí mou fotiá,
thymísou ti theótitá sou.
It’s time. Time to remember.
And when you do…
Fotise ton kosmo fylaka mou ton asterion.
…Oh- and one other thing.
Do keep in mind… the dawn brings the arrival of the sun each morning.
The sun is also star. Take this as you wish.
May come to aid you in later.
