Coffee & Co-Working

  • Ethereal Confections in the Loft 114 South Jefferson Street Woodstock, IL, 60098 United States (map)

Here's the thing about running a business: it can be really lonely.

You're making decisions in a vacuum. You're second-guessing yourself. You're Googling things at 11pm that you wish you could just ask someone who's been there.

And when you do go to a "networking event," it's all surface-level conversations and elevator pitches and trying to remember everyone's names while simultaneously wondering if you're supposed to be collecting business cards or if that's even still a thing.

So we decided to create something different.

On Wednesday, February 18th , we're opening up the Loft space at Ethereal in Woodstock from 10am-2pm for small business owners to just... be together. Work together. Help each other.

Here's how it works:
Drop in anytime during those four hours - stay for 20 minutes, stay for three hours, whatever your brain and schedule allow.

When you arrive, we'll do a quick intention-setting moment (what are you working on? what do you need?), then you choose your zone.

Quiet focus area if you need heads-down time and zero interruptions.

Conversation area if you're stuck on something and want real feedback - think mini mastermind hot seats, talking through decisions, or just processing out loud with people who get it.
There's no rigid agenda. No forced mingling. No "let's go around the room" anything. Just flexible space to work how you work best, with the option to tap into community when you need it.

You should come if:
Women, womxn, femmes, nonbinary folks, LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, BIPOC business owners, neurodivergent founders, disabled entrepreneurs, and anyone who's been told (implicitly or explicitly) that traditional business spaces weren't built with you in mind.
Freelancers, contractors, solopreneurs, side hustlers, full-time founders - all stages and structures and you're craving less hustle culture and more human connection. Less performance, more authenticity. Less "crushing goals" and more sustainable support.

The details:
Just community. Support. Space to breathe.
